Who We Are

We’re a community hub steeped in history!
The Seaman's VIctoria Hall boasts a rich history deeply connected to Nairn's fishing community. Built in 1887, its original purpose was to serve as a vital gathering place for the fisherfolk of Nairn. Over the decades, it played many roles in the Fishertown community, functioning as a centre for learning and recreation, hosting weddings, and even serving as a hub for the local Temperance movement.
Today it provides a welcoming space for community events, fitness classes and private hire, alongside a strong focus on environmental sustainability through initiatives like waste reduction and upcycling workshops.
