About the Event
Join us for a day of creativity and sustainability at Seaman's Hall!
Part of the Highland Climate Festival - we will have activities in the Hall to help you embrace your creativity and get you thinking about easy ways to take environmental action in a fun sustainable way.
The event overall will run from 12pm to 3pm, with soup and bread and refreshments available from 12 o'clock.
There will be two workshops aimed specifically for primary age children namely a junior garden club in the garden outside Seaman's Hall from 12pm -1pm, followed by a 'build your own bughouse' workshop in the hall from 2 - 3pm.
The Zero Waste Fabric Store will be open throughout between 12 and 3pm
There will be a creative writing session in the kitchen area between 1 and 2pm
Staff from our Green Hive Community Workshop based at Balmakeith, will be at Seaman's Hall to promote their work between 12 and 3pm (https://hub.greenhive.co.uk/community-workshop)
In addition representatives from Highlands & Islands Climate Action Hub, Mikeysline and Home Energy Scotland will be available between 12 and 3pm for a chat - grab some tasty soup and get a chat with these fantastic organisations.
