About the Event

Come along on a walk with Stephen Wiseman and Green Hive as we explore the diverse riverside of Nairn.

You can meet up with us in real life, or join us online as we spend an hour out and about the riverside environment - Poetry and stories will find their place too!

About N4H

Nature 4 Health aims to help people connect with nature, each other and themselves. Experience the mindful benefits of green and blue space and the fascinating species we share the planet with.

Based in Nairn they work throughout the north of Scotland and offer lots of different activities from bushcraft and nature ID to storytelling and outdoors art.

Being outdoors in nature is intrinsically beneficial but doing it with others and learning new ways, skills and understandings makes this offering organic and vital.

We all have mental and physical health and the benefits of social interaction are many. Our sessions help people to define what staying well or being happy means for them and how to work towards that. Come and join us and experience this for yourself!

With our guide Stephen Wiseman:

Stephen Wiseman has lived in Nairn for over 17 years and moved here to help manage lots of countryside properties in the Highlands with the National Trust for Scotland, spending time after that with Scottish Waterways Trust and now with Nature 4 Health.

Essentially an old ranger, Stephen enjoys time spent in nature and sharing that with others. Being in the mountains, woodlands or on the coast is his natural habitat!
