The Big Paddle Clean Up : East Beach
A collective community effort as part of the National Big Paddle Clean Up Campaign. Bringing together water user and community groups as well as volunteers. The focus will be on East Beach, dunes and the shoreline.

About the Event
Everyone is welcome to contribute to the Big Paddle Clean Up if you appreciate the blue spaces in Nairn.Â
We will meet at Seaman's Hall to collect equipment, have a safety brieifing and have a group photo at 9.30am. Â Those taking to the water (at their own risk) will depart and be on the water for 10 to head to the bar to review what is there and . The focus on the East Beach with a group going into the dunes, there will be a car parked at the car park for any larger items which need removed/transported.Â
Seaman's Hall will act as a base with refreshments provided. You can go out for 10minutes or return at 12 o clock. All waste will be weighed and sorted. PLastics will be taken to Green Hive Balmakaeith workshop fir recycling into recycled plastic products.Â

This is free event and all equipment and refreshments will be provided by Green Hive at Seaman's Hall. If you do wish to leave a donation to help us with our ongoing costs to continue our charity work that is appreciated but please do not feel under any obligation to. Your participation is the most important thing!
