About the Event

Do you have fruit trees and bushes in your community growing space that you’d like to know more about? Come and join local expert Des Scholes who will share with you tips on managing your fruit trees and shrubs using wildlife friendly methods. We hope to cover pruning, feeding and training fruit trees in order to maximise your yields.

We will talk through the development and maintenance of Nairn's community orchard sites. This will be an informative and interactive session where you'll be able to swap tips and experiences of all things food!

We are running a practical session on Social Media for Community Growing Groups in the afternoon at this venue which you are also welcome to come to. That session is also free but we ask you to book a place separately so we can gauge numbers. You can do so here.

TRAVEL: We have a small budget available to help with travel costs. Please get in touch with us if cost of travel is a barrier to you being able to attend and we will be able to help.
