About the Event

This is our first big opportunity to have a group walk in over 2 years and we would really love to see you there - not only is it a fantastic opportunity to learn about conservation work, specifically invasive non-native species management, but you will also get to enjoy a wander around Nairn's lovely riverside.

This walk will mark the beginning of regular invasive plant scouting walks and I would really like to hear from you if you would like to come along and volunteer for this project - Green Hive can work with you to ensure you get the most out of your time volunteering and we can provide you with everything you will need to attend.

Green Hive is planning to focus on Himalayan Balsam this year and we have a range of equipment ready to use once the plants are big enough to remove - what we really need is YOU!

If you would like to get more involved in invasive species management, you will be able to speak to James on the day - James is currently looking for volunteers who are interested in learning about the more technical side of plant management.

Please feel free to share and forward this on to anyone you think might be interested in coming along - ping me a wee reply if you would like to attend or if you have any questions or suggestions about our walk on the day, we're super flexible with the format for the day and we're really looking forward to seeing you!

RSVP for the meeting point.
