Writer's picture: Fiona KeirFiona Keir

Following the success of the Pop Up Fabric Sale on Saturday our attentions turn to our next event to celebrate Fashion Revolution week. In partnership with the Highland Weigh we are hosting a film screening of the anti-fast fashion documentary, Fashion Reimagined. Why not bring along 2 items to join in the clothes swap event at the Highland Weigh between 7-9pm. Also joining us will be special guests, Vintage 2 Vinyl and Daisy & Stanley, two independent retailers on Nairn High Street focusing on pre-loved clothing, If you have not already browsed their rails of fantastic clothing and accessories, now is your chance!

Young People's Opportunity To Meet A Designer

To conclude our Fashion Revolution celebration we are offering young people in the Nairn the opportunity to meet the truly inspirational, fashion disruptor Prickley Thistle, as part of our Youth Climate Cafe supported by Highlife Highland Youth Services. This event will inspire any young person aged 11+ to consider their fashion choices as well as having a go at designing their very own sustainable fashion item. Spread the word and encourgae young people along on Wednesday 1st May 6-8pm. More details about prickly Thistle are available here and click on Prickly Thistle under designers
