Take part in our sewing group at the Green Hive hub, upcycle unwanted fabric to create reusable bags to be donated to local shops to reduce the number of plastic bags used in Nairn. Learn new skills and meet some new people.

Lend a hand to keep the community orchard maintained and thriving. Tools and gloves provided and no experience necessary, just come along and join in.
Apple Tree Grafting & Pruning Workshop *FREE* Saturday 2nd March, 10.30am-2.30pm Sandown Allotments, Sandown Farm Lane
Learn how to graft new apple trees, prune mature trees and take home a fruit tree to plant in your own garden. Spaces are limited and existing Green Hive volunteers will have priority. Places must be booked by email or call 07453912697.
Swap Party Friday 15th March, 7pm-9pm Green Hive Hub, Links Studios, Grant Street, Fishertown
Don’t shop, swap! A chance for a clear out of your wardrobe and to choose some ‘new to you’ items for free. Bring along your unwanted but still in a good condition clothes and household items at 7pm and add them to the rails. It’s free and environmentally friendly. Anything not swapped will be donated to local charity shops.
‘A Hive of Scribes’ fundraiser Friday 29th March, 7.30pm The Little Theatre, Nairn
The Pen & I, Nairn’s creative writing group will be presenting an evening of readings of poetry and prose. There may be a little music too. There will be a raffle and refreshments. The cost will be £8 payable at the door and all proceeds will be donated to Green Hive. No pre-booking, tickets at the door.
