2020 is drawing to a close - and our plans for 2021 are in full swing.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported and helped Green Hive thrive, despite the challenges facing us all.
Our amazing group of volunteers have outdone themselves this year - they stepped up to the challenges of the lockdown and took part in our starter kit project - growing their own veggies, recycling waste fabric into amazing creations, tackling a growing litter problem with litter picking kits and keeping the community orchard tidy, as well as producing amazing items at our Green Hive workshop and donating loads of useful plastic and fabric for us to repurpose.
No reward could be big enough, and we are so glad that we received the Queens Award - proving what we already knew, that our volunteers are the best that Nairn has to offer!
Our Board of Directors, including our four new board members - Jane, Peter, Kath and Sean, provided amazing support to our staff continuously throughout 2020 and enabled us to grow and flourish as a community organisation - it's difficult to put into words just how much hard work our Directors do behind the scenes to support Green Hive and our goals and we are so lucky to have such a proactive and inspiring board - thank you from the Green Hive staff to Simon, Eve, Stephen, Alastair, Jane, Peter, Kath and Sean.
We also want to say THANK YOU to everyone we worked with this year - our webinar speakers who gave such fantastic talks -
