We’ve started our Viewfield Park project this week. Our chums at Community Payback came down on Monday and got things going and they plan to come down again. Mums and toddlers plus a bunch of Green Hive volunteers spent Tuesday morning tackling the main park. This is a BIG JOB and we’re looking for extra equipment to help. Relying on our volunteers, however cheerful and enthusiastic all are, it’ll take plenty long enough without some more kit!
We leafleted ALL the residents whose houses back on to the Park and so far four have been in touch. We plan to help clear their gardens of the offending leaves, though we may not be able to do that until the bulk of the leaves have fallen.
