World Film Festival Comes to Nairn

Inspiring films, a beach clean, wellness on the beach........ put the 6th April in your diaries!

A first for Nairn! Our friends behind Highland Experiences are hosting the world paddling film festival in Nairn Community & Arts Centre on Saturday 6th April. Not content with securing the film event there is a whole day of activity planned and both Green Hive and Blue Space HIghland are the charity partners of the event.

Looking to buy a canoe or kayak? Contact Highland Experiences or pop along to their boat sale on Saturday morning.

Leeanne and Ali from Blue Space Highland will be at Nairn beach from 11am to deliver some Mindfulness Sessions, Beach SUP Yoga and Stress Management

Do go along and learn about Blue Space wellness, this is an awesome new charity getting started in Nairn.

Between 2-4pm you can join us and Nairn Kayak Club for a beach clean. It's a perfect time to give our beach a 'spring clean' before the season starts and for us to collectively join Keep Scotland Beautiful campaign #SpringCleanScotland 2024 with the theme of Nature, Communities, Health & Wellbeing and Marine Litter.  We will be meeting at Seaman's Hall to collect litter pickers and safety equipment. There will be refreshment's on offer when you return to sort through our recyclable materials and also meet the wonder Ashleigh Barber who is swimming the English Channel in 2024 who will be at the hall selling raffle tickets on this day.

Then join Cory and the crew for an inspiring evening of action packed films starting at 5pm. Learn more about the paddling film festival over on their facebook page
