This is an exciting time for us as we establish our new workshop and launch income-generating projects transforming waste materials such as single use plastic into useful products for the community. We want to appoint a manager who can take a lead in working with the Board, managing our two part-time staff, helping us develop our income generating projects and taking on new projects and staff as funds allow. We also need you to ensure our continued engagement with the communities of Nairn.
This role is likely to appeal to those with experience of managing staff in a small organisation, managing and controlling budgets and grant fundraising, preferably in a voluntary sector, social enterprise or environmental organisation
An understanding of environmental action, recycling and the re-purposing of waste is highly desirable but not essential. Experience of product marketing would also be very useful.
This is a one-year full-time contract, renewable subject to funding. Remuneration £26,000.
