The nights are fair drawing in and the leaves are fluttering down from the trees...

That can only mean one thing for Green Hive - leaf mulching!

Join Nature4Health, Green Hive and Trees for Life on the 15th of October for a day of nature based activities and workshops all around Nairn.

Green Hive will be at the Viewfield from 12pm - 2pm to gather and compact all the leaf fall from the Viewfield to create some amazing leaf mulch for everyone to use in their gardens and community beds.

We're challenging YOU to collect as many leaves as you can in 30 minutes - will you be our Leaf Gathering Champion?

We'll provide you with a bag for leaf collecting, but please bring your own gardening gloves and remember to dress for the weather!

We're hoping for a busy day at the Viewfield so please stick to the 2 metre distancing when you are out gathering up leaves

Green Hive staff will keep a tally of your leafy levy and the winner will be announced at the end of Friday

Our winner will receive a Green Hive bundle of activities - including the Green Hive plastic education pack and activity almanac!

Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, you must book on to this event to participate, due to number restrictions we will not be able to allocate you a space on the day.
