Creating a more sustainable Halloween

As the shops begin to fill with Halloween treats, they also fill with Halloween costumes which are usually seen as a disposable item, often only used once on one night of the year.

With a view to increasing awareness and to give the community another option, we have now launched our community costume wardrobe. Even better there are now more places to donate your pre-loved costumes in all shapes and sizes, with Vitamin Sea and Auldearn Bikes as 2 additional drop off points along with Seaman's Hall. We will set up special sessions where anyone can come down to select from our rails of costumes throughout October. Join us in making a difference but still enjoying the fun of Halloween!

Creepy Costumes Workshops - 10th, 11th & 12th October

Come to our sessions to design, learn sewing skills, create and then walk the catwalk in your own costumes this halloween. Using our donated fabric you can choose from wizard/witches cloak or ghost costume. These workshops will run over 3 mornings from 10-12 on the 10th, 11th and 12th October and are suited to young people aged 12-17.
