New Partnership Brings New Opportunities

We are delighted to announce we are working in partnership with Wild Things on some joint projects in 2024 to offer opportunities to engage with nature and the environmental for the young and slightly older at heart!

Wild Things is an award-winning environmental education charity working in Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands. Since 2003, Wild Things has enabled over 36,000 children, young people, and adults to learn from and be inspired by their local natural environment. We pride ourselves on bringing nature experiences to all areas of our community.


What's On Offer?

Wild Things run adult, family and older adult activities. They offer inspiring wilderness, nature based, and outdoor learning experiences for all ages and abilities. for all ages and abilities.


Spoon Carving

Spoon Carving at Seaman's Hall on Saturday 30th March in our cosy kitchen space. Book here for just £10.


Silver Saplings

Day adventures for the young at heart, targeted towards those aged 55+. Get picked up in Nairn and return by 3pm having enjoyed a day in nature. These activities are fully accessible and will be supported by Green Hive staff member, Caroline in the first instance.


Our trained staff are dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

 

• All routes pre-assessed for ease of walking/access

• Seating provided – no expectation to walking all the time

• Ability to walk 1⁄2 mile but this can be with a rolator, walking frame/sticks etc.

• Hot water bottles, blankets, ponchos/rain covers

• Cake and Coffee/Tea

• Minibus pick up from  Seaman's hall and the bus station
