Having recently received an amazing donation of high quality fabric from Fabrik Magik in Inverness for our zero waste fabric store/shop, we have decided to arrange a special Pop up Fabric Sale:
Green Hive
Seaman’s Hall
Fishertown, Nairn
Saturday 20th April
From 2 - 4pm
Come along and take the opportunity to purchase by donation some fabric for a project of your own, and find out more about our Green Hive Remakery project where our wonderful volunteers create a range of beautiful zero waste fabric products for sale to raise funds for Green Hive.
Afterwards, we would be delighted if you could send a photo of your creation which we will add to a photo gallery on our website, to inspire others as to what can be made from donated fabrics.
In general Green Hive’s Zero Waste Fabric Store is a resource for the whole community.
It is open during weekdays to receive donations of fabric as well as the sale of fabric by donation.
Our Zero Waste Green Hive Remakery volunteers currently meet every Thursday morning at Seaman’s Hall between 10 and 1pm, and monthly on a Saturday morning.
From Wednesday 24th April, we plan to open up a second session between 2 and 4pm . Do come along if you would like to work on a fabric project in company with others, or get inspiration about a possible project to start with, with support from our more experienced volunteers if needed. We have sewing machines available to use.
Please contact Jan for further information about the weekly sessions at the Seaman’s Hall and to arrange a space jan@greenhive.co.uk 07400 456704.
