Pop up Fabric Sale success

Having recently received an amazing donation of high quality fabric from Fabrik Magik in Inverness for our Green Hive Remakery project, we decided to arrange a special Pop up Fabric Sale on Saturday 20th April.

Our wonderful volunteers did a great job of running the sales tables, our zero waste fabric store, our ‘have a go’ sewing station and our tombola stall, and all in all the day was a great success.

We sold an estimated 74 kgs of the approximately 300 kgs of fabric which had been donated, and have asked all those who purchased fabric to send a photo of what they go on to make which we will include in our online gallery of creations to help inspire others.

In addition to this pop up sale, our  Zero Waste Fabric store at the Seaman’s Hall in Fishertown in Nairn  is available on an ongoing basis. The store is open to receive donations of fabric and make sales of fabric when the Hall is open, Monday to Friday, but if you want to be sure ahead of time, or have any questions fabric related,  please contact our fabric project co-ordinator - Jan MacPherson on 07400 456704 or email jan@greenhive.co.uk.

Stop press - The Zero Waste Fabric Store will be open on Saturday 11th May from 2-4pm - why not come along for a browse....
