We spent a fair bit of time in the Viewfield Park last week, as did a team from Community Payback. You’d hardly think we’d done anything there’s so many leaves continuing to fall. However, good news! Local contractor Robbie Barron of RBS Landscapes has offered to come down with his sit-on mower and spend half a day “hoovering up the leaves. He’s not sure when he can do it….maybe a week or so yet.
This should make a tremendous difference to the situation – THANKS ROBBIE!
Meanwhile three of us have been round to residents in neighbouring streets and cleared away a pile of leaves. Thanks are due to our volunteers – they gave up their own time for others benefit.
