Things are going brilliantly at Seaman's Hall as we approach our first year of getting the keys to this amazing building. We get asked a lot what is going on at Seaman's Hall so we thought a quick summary of external events and activities may be helpful


Alzheimer's Scotland Host Dementia Friendly Activities

This is an open session for anyone with dementia or caring for some with dementia to enjoy some company, engaging activities on a weekly basis and talk to the fantastic staff at Alzheimer's Scotland. Sessions run every Monday 2-3.30pm. No need to book, just turn up!


Comedy by Craig Campbell

Wild Things offer family workshops creating natural Christmas Decorations

Learn about the wonderful natural materials we have on our doorstep and create beautiful Christmas decorations to take home, have a warm mince pie to finish off the day and ensure that Christmas spirit is in full flow.

Wild Things will provide hot drinks and mince pies, but please bring along a packed lunch for everyone attending.

Get your fitness fix with Highlife Highland

With 5 classes per week there is plenty to choose from whether you like to spin, circuits or box fit is more your thing! We got a write up in the Inverness Courier



Get grafting skills and learn fruit tree care

Join us on Saturday 25th November for a hands on and informative session with our apple expert, to learn apple tree grafting and all about setting up community orchards. Lunch is provided with this session through our partnership with Highland Good Food Partnership. This session is free and can be booked here





Another new activity starting in January we have Parkour!

Join in street running in Seaman's Hall the first Friday of every month. Learn to safely leap, land and flip. Starting in January, but you can book now to secure your place. Book here


Coming soon to Nairn - Forest & Dot

We are excited to host the super talented Forest & Dot bringing their creative flair and teaching to Seaman's Hall with a Beginners Chunky knit Christmas Wreath Workshop on 1st December 11-1.


Learn how to make your own Chunky knit Christmas Wreath the perfect addition for any home this Christmas or why not make some handmade Christmas gifts for your loved one! This workshop is perfect for beginners! You will be taken through your own pace to learn how to make your own Wreath in just 2 hours! You will learn how to make your wreath using giant shetland pure wool and then the best bit is choosing from an array of decorations to decorate your wreath with. There will be twinkling fairy lights, fresh pinecones, sweet orange slices and cinnamon sticks available to decorate your wreaths with, You can book here
